Welcome to Dixie's Groom Room. My name is Chrisleen and I am a Qualified Level 3 Dog Groomer based in the Badger Farm area of Winchester, Hampshire. Having two dogs of my own, I understand the importance of pampering your pooch in a relaxing, homely and stress free environment. I offer a variety of dog grooming services on a 1-1 basis in a purpose built, calming studio. Working with your dog to ensure their comfort and welfare is of upmost importance. I only take bookings with one dog at a time, so your furry family member will have my undivided attention with lots of love and treats (if allowed!).
Services
Bath, Brush & Blow Dry
A two bath wash with a carefully selected natural shampoo. This is then followed by a blow dry and brush out, removing any tangles and leaving your pooch feeling and smelling as fresh as a daisy! Ear cleanse and natural perfume spritz included. Price dependent on the size of your furry friend and coat type.
Full Groom
A two bath wash with a carefully selected natural shampoo. This is then followed by a blow dry, brush out and body style/scissor (as requested) to get your dog looking great! A hygiene trim, nail clip, pad clearing and natural perfume spritz to finish off that pamper is also included. Price dependent on the size of your furry friend and coat type.
De-Shed
Our de-shed groom is the equivalent of a full groom for double coated breeds. Long-haired breeds (Border Collies and Golden Retrievers) and short-haired breeds (Labradors and Frenchies) will be best placed with this groom. A massaging two bath wash removes any loose hair, followed by a blow dry and brush to remove any remaining loose coat. A nail trim, ear cleanse, pad clearing and natural perfume spritz is also included. Price dependent on the size of your furry friend.
Handstrip
This groom is specifically designed for wire haired pooches, such as Terrier breeds. The dead outer coat is removed by hand to allow space for the new coat to grow through. This service supports the coat's natural texture and colour. Following on from the handstripping process, a two bath wash, blow dry, nail trim and ear cleanse will leave your furry friend looking fantastic. Price dependent on the size of your furry friend.
Puppy Pamper
A gentle introduction to the grooming process will set your lovely pup up for a lifetime of positive grooming experiences. This service is for puppies from 3 - 6 months (after their immunisations). Based over 3 sessions. During their first visit, your pup will have an introduction to the groom room, familiarising them with all the sounds and smells to ensure their first experience is comfortable and calm. Their second visit will be a wash and blow dry (with nails - if your pup is comfortable with this). Their final visit involves their first full groom to give your puppy the full pampering experience. I will, of course, move at the pace and comfort of your pup, leaving them feeling tidy and trim. Price upon request.
